The North Shore Community Coalition for Environmental Justice (NSCCEJ) works to improve the quality of life on the North Shore of Staten Island, New York by helping to build a more sustainable community. Our mission is to bring community organizations, businesses, academic institutions and residents together to address the environmental health concerns of the North Shore of Staten Island in partnerships with government agencies and community action. Through advocacy, education and community outreach and organizing, we are making the North Shore of Staten Island a cleaner, healthier and greener place to work and live. We collaborate with governmental agencies, businesses and communities to adopt environmentally responsible and equitable policies and practices. Local civic organizations, local development corporations, members of Community Board 1 and concerned residents make up our Coalition. We welcome your participation!
